Overview

The Pleated Metal Mesh Melt Filter Element is a high‑performance precision filter designed for the continuous filtration of high‑viscosity polymer melts, chemicals, hydraulic fluids, water, and hot gases. Manufactured entirely from stainless steel media – including sintered fibre felt and woven wire mesh – this element combines exceptional mechanical strength with outstanding filtration efficiency.

The pleated (corrugated) configuration maximises the active filtration area within a compact envelope, delivering high flow rates, extended service life, and reliable operation under extreme temperatures and pressures. It is the preferred choice for demanding industrial processes where product purity and process continuity are critical.

  • Premium Filter Media – Constructed from stainless steel fibre sintered felt and stainless steel woven wire mesh. Sintered felt is a porous depth‑type material produced by high‑temperature sintering of fine stainless steel fibres, offering a graded pore structure for precise particle capture.
